And that’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our second annual EV Car Show, Electrify PTC, in celebration of National Drive Electric Week. The 2023 event marked the first year we joined the Peachtree Corners Fall Festival, and it was the perfect opportunity to ensure our entire community was able to enjoy the latest EV vehicles. Families, car enthusiasts and festival goers were able to walk through a variety of EVs with butterfly doors, custom car wraps, towing and charging demonstrations and more.

This year, we were honored to have Jim Ellis and BMW of Gwinnett Place bring their latest EV vehicles including the BMW i7 and iX, Cadillac Lyriq, Porsche Tycan, Hyundai Ionic and more.

In addition, we had incredible participation from the community. Residents were encouraged to show off their customized EVs which included the Rivian R1S and R1T Kia EV6 GT; Tesla Model X, Y, 3, and S P100D; a 2021 RAV 4 Prime pulling a camper, 2023 Porsche Tycan with custom rainbow wrap and more.

Supporting Electrification and Celebrating National Drive Electric Week 2023

Educating residents and visitors about the city’s efforts to improve the everyday lives of the community is always a priority for Peachtree Corners. National Drive Electric Week is a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more, and is the perfect opportunity to have a fun and interactive event to further educate the public on electrification.

“Electrify PTC not only allows the community to be exposed to a variety of EV vehicles from dealerships and from residents but also gives those who may be thinking about buying an EV the chance to speak with current owners directly and dealership experts to find out what EV may be best for them,” said City of Peachtree Corners Assistant City Manager and CTO Brandon Branham. “As a city, we have the largest EV charging hub in Metro Atlanta, and at Curiosity Lab, we have multiple EV charging solutions being developed and tested. This event also acts as a way for residents and visitors to see how the city is working to support electrification and what is to come next for our community.”
