As Curiosity Lab continues to grow, so does the importance of creating an intentional, connected environment where startups, corporate innovators, universities, public-sector partners, and global organizations can engage meaningfully with one another. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Kimberly Littrean to the Curiosity Lab team!

Curiosity Lab has always been a place where emerging technologies are tested and deployed in the real world. As the organization evolves, we’re also focused on building the relationships, experiences, and sense of community that make Curiosity Lab a place where companies want to be, partnerships happen naturally, and innovation can thrive.

Kim will play a key role in helping bring that vision to life.

“One of the things that makes Curiosity Lab special is that it’s more than a place to test and validate cutting edge technology,” said Emily Heintz, Executive Director of Curiosity Lab. “We’re building an ecosystem where startups, corporations, universities, investors, and public-sector leaders can learn from one another, collaborate, and create opportunities together. Kim brings exactly the combination of operational excellence, attention to detail, and community-building experience needed to help us create that kind of environment.”

A Background in People-First Leadership

With extensive experience spanning workplace operations, employee experience, facilities management, event execution, executive support, and community-building, Kim brings a unique combination of operational expertise and people-first leadership. Most recently, she served as Facilities Manager for Workplace Experience & People Operations at Fullstory, where she supported a 400+ person workforce, managed workplace operations and vendor relationships, led employee engagement initiatives, and helped increase in-office engagement from 43% to 80% within six months. Prior to Fullstory, she held operations and workplace leadership roles with Barrios Virguez Attorneys, Arizent, Condé Nast, and the Metropolitan Transit Authority.

At Curiosity Lab, Kim leads member experience, events, tours, community engagement, and day-to-day operations across the Innovation Center. Her work will support everything from welcoming prospective member and coordinating visits from global delegations to creating meaningful touchpoints that strengthen connections across the Curiosity Lab ecosystem.

For Kim, the opportunity to help shape that experience was a major part of what attracted her to Curiosity Lab.

Bringing Innovation to Life

“What excites me most about Curiosity Lab is the people,” said Littrean. “There is an incredible mix of innovators, entrepreneurs, partners, and visitors coming through the Lab every day. I love creating environments where people feel welcomed, supported, and connected, and I’m excited to help build an experience that makes Curiosity Lab a place where people want to spend time, build relationships, and do great work.”

As Curiosity Lab continues to grow, Kim’s role will help ensure the organization remains not only a place where technology from all over the world is tested and validated, but also a place where meaningful connections are formed, new opportunities emerge, and innovation comes to life.

Please join us in welcoming Kim to the Curiosity Lab team!
