What better way to close out 2024 than with Curiosity Lab’s 2024 Winter Curious Connections event! Our Curious Connections series is meant to encourage startups and entrepreneurs in our area to connect with each other and industry leaders to share knowledge and learnings. Our goal is to educate entrepreneurs on the resources available at Curiosity Lab and our area.
Curious Connections is a free event and will take place on Wednesday, December 4 from 3:00PM to 6PM in our Curiosity Lab Innovation Center. This year, our winter Curious Connections event will include an incredible panel led by tax, accounting and advisory firm Smith + Howard. A group of their experienced professionals will cover essential topics across cyber risk, entity selection, the significance of financial statements, tax credits available for startups, early-stage and accelerated business, and much more. Doors open at 3PM with the panel beginning at 3:30PM – make sure you arrive early so you do not miss an incredible conversation!
Panelists for this educational discussion include Smith + Howard employees Brad Pittman, CPA – Director, Specialty Tax Services; Darcy Copeland, CPA – Business Growth Advisor; Oliver Villacorta, MBA, CISSP, CCSP, HCISPP – Senior Manager; and will be moderated by Curiosity Lab Managing Director Valerie Chang. Q&A will be held after the panel for entrepreneurs to ask specific questions about their business.
After the panel, Curiosity Lab will be hosting a Happy Hour from 4:30PM-6PM with food and drinks, beer and wine for attendees.
